Not getting any job you apply for??
Hi all!!
Today i am going to be talking about dealing with problems with your current or previous employer. Sometimes you get tired of working for your current place of work for whatever reason. Most of the time it is just no opportunities for advancement, or any kind of growth with in the company. I started out working for a company i will not name, but in the first year or so everything was going fine and sooner or later you start hating your job. That was me everyday you start having to drag yourself to work which is not the way to go you should at least somewhat enjoy your job. I got trained in about every department in this place and everyone else started getting advancement opportunities except for me.
It is very upsetting when you know how to do a certain job and they keep picking other people over you. So i realized that after all these opportunities have passed me i would start looking for another job because i really am not going to move anywhere with in the company. I apply for many positions and got many interviews but never got call backs. Yuo think sometimes oh manyb i just did not do so well in the interview and no thats not the case, i always thought the manager had something against me. It was never my work performance all my other managers would always recognize my work performance and try to give me opportunities for advancement but she never did.
So after about 50 unsuccessful interviews i decided to have a professional call and do a verification of employment for me. What this person said about me was exactly what i thought was going on she denied that she ever had a person of my name work there. What she is doing is basically telling potential employers that i am lying about working there. By doing this i figured out why i am not getting other employment.
What i am doing know is not listing them as an employer, i am basically starting from the bottom i am only listing my personal information, now i have found a job and i started from scratch. I finally don't have to list an employer that gives me a bad reference, this worked for me just that one phone call resolved my problems. If you are having the same problem i was have someone verify employment for you and find out if your manager does not want you to move forward.
